iPod, et al.

Due to an unexpected gift from one of my awesome grandmas, I’ve now got enough in my coffee can full of loose change to buy the iPod I haven’t been able to stop thinking about for the past who the hell knows how long. I can’t stress enough how freakin’ excited I am about this. Regular readers will already know this.
Due to my job and benefits package ruling, I’m taking Tuesday and Wednesday of next week off, in addition to the Memorial Day holiday. I’m also pretty freakin’ excited about this, as for some reason I’ve had a serious case of work burnout this week. Which, as I’m fond of mentioning, is kind of sad when you’ve got a job you love. Or when I’ve got a job I love, for that matter.
Due to the lunch I’ve just eaten, I’m kind of full.
Due to the fact that I’ve been driving around with an expired license for the last five months, it’s probably about time I looked in to having it replaced. I’m a little apprehensive about the new photo, though, as I really liked the old one, and I kinda need a shower today.
Due to the fact that Darleece and I got paid today, I’m much less sullen and angry than usual. Additionally, we’ll probably end up having a swell weekend because of these things.
Due to circumstances I’m not conscious of, I’m having a hard time thinking of substantive or amusing things to report.
Due to a concerted effort on my part, however, even this last paragraph began like all the others.

IPod, sweet. Get it online, so you can get the discount and shit. Also, get the seperate earphones for it. They are much better than the ones that come with it. From what I’ve heard atleast.

I got different headphones for mine, simply because when people see the white headphones, they know what device you are listening to and are very interested. One time I was on the bus using the regular white headphones, iPod tucked securely in my pocket, and a little kid yelled, “Mommy! He has an iPod!” Kid, you’re supposed to be way too young to care about such things.
