    Monday-riffic

    By briantologist | July 19, 2004

Man. Drinking is hard work sometimes. Hard, expensive work.

After a spectacularly late Friday night, wherein we got Agent Foxxy Boxing all packed up and sent off,* I lost most of Saturday to sleeping. I then lost the rest of it to hung-over indigestion, the kind one only really gets when one thinks as one’s leaving the bar, “Damned if I don’t need a bunch of eggs and sausage and biscuits and gravy RIGHT THE FUCK NOW.” Seriously, it’ll fuck up your entire day, and most of the evening.

In other news, this murder mystery play I’m in came off pretty well both nights. I didn’t drop any lines, and avoided the drink until after the thing was done with. Except for a little hair of the dog Saturday, which at that point was really my only hope. Three more nights next week, and then I can resume my schedule of doing nothing. Thank goodness.

In yet other news: Visit the official site for tom and Greg’s animated short, “Brother Can You Spare A Job?” It’s fun despite being about not fun things. Also I suppose in that respect it’s not all that fun. Still, you should watch it.

I think this is gonna be another one of those “Thank heavens for Monday so I can stop drinking” days.

    * — This is blatantly false, as it turns out. We were actually acting directly against Agent F.B.’s packing and leaving interests that evening, in that we, by which I mean I, wouldn’t stop berating her about not staggering over to Route 66 for 2 a.m. breakfast, which ended up lasting ’til about four.

I WANTED to go to Route 66, but apparently I had other things awaiting me, like smashed-in hoods!
