Outta the bag
By briantologist | November 30, 2004
As you may or may not have read here, there’s a bit of news:

Fortunately Erin’s eight weeks along, so the kid probably won’t be born a heroin addict. Or a Tylenol-3 addict.

Did you have to crop the shit out of this one too or did I finally break free of me left-framing/negative space issue for this one sheer moment of photographic bliss?

I’m gonna say both. I think Ern cropped it pretty good, but I don’t recall it being too egregiously out of frame either.

I can’t wait until you have the baby so you can draw things on him/her. I’ll make a scrapbook for baby’s first temporary tattoo!

So when do we start the raffle for who gets to name the baby?
Congrats.

I think we’ve already settled on Fidel if it’s a boy, Burtina if it’s a girl. Y’know, something simple and traditional.

I was thinking Optimus Prime for a boy or considering his recent passing, Big Baby Jesus.
And me he (if it’s a he of course) be a masculine one.
Just a thought.

I can’t wait to sharpie that kid’s knuckles! Man, I’m tearing up just thinking about it.

Congratulations to you both.
You should definitely write “baby” somewhere on your newborn. For the first year of my daughter’s life, I kept confusing her with my cordless mini-vac…The up side was that she DID get the carpets really clean.

We are going to need the tiniest, preciousest Sharpie ever.

Congratulations to you both (three). I think that is great! Of course, I will miss running into you in random watering holes around town – but what am I saying, now you will need them more than ever!

Come over immediately for cake decorating lessons!
