Workin’ it
By briantologist | November 23, 2004
So far “Operation: Work While on Vacation” is going almost suspiciously well. Well, kind of. Better than daytime work, anyway. I wake up about the same time as I usually do, get ready then too, but then instead of going to work, I go to the coffee shop. After the requisite 45 to 90 minutes sipping coffee, checking my e-mail, and doing the crossword, I get around to work, which in this case is the freelance stuff I’ve been doing for Dr. 12.
I think this is how I’d work if I were a world-famous novelist, or failing that, a novelist who could support himself noveling.
Except in my working novelist world, I’d have a cat without a sucking neck wound.

And I’ll see if I can get a noveling gig lined up for you instead of writing snarky course descriptions.

Who’s snarky? Just trying to, y’know, lighten up the catalog a little bit. Just saying.
