aw. my 2 kitties were not alowed in our bedroom (where we kept the kid the inital months) and the day we brought our son home and tried to change his diaper- screaming all the while- the cats stood in our doorway howling like dogs because they were immediately concerned about their sibling. Then once would wait until I sat still long enough (only when nursing) and would climb on my lap and try to shove the baby out of the way. CONGRATS! Remember that each passing week gets A LOT better and love grows leaps and bounds more than you could ever imagine with your little one.

Dude, Trucky’s being all sweet. They’re all so fascinated by him, mainly where sniffing him is concerned. I went in to check on Henry and the Tiny Truck was kickin’ it on the rug next to the bassinet, just keeping an eye on things. I really think this might be a valuable growth experience for the Truckster.

Trucky is just worried about the sunlight on the rug and as far as Trucky’s concerned that thing in the bassinet doesn’t have enough fur to warrant sunbathing.

I totally remember what it’s like to come home with a new baby, and I didn’t have to have a Caesarean, but please jebus make with the baby pictures. My reload finger is getting crampy pressing that button over and over.

I think the disturbing thing about this picture is that you can’t see Henry. But there’s something under the bassinet part. Surely that’s not him.

Hee hee. No, he’s hidden by the bassinet flank. He’s right where the cats are looking, but where we can’t see. Man, there are volumes to be written about the places cats can see, but we can’t. Bizarre volumes.
Okay, okay, I’ll make with more pictures. Sheesh. It’s practically a baby picture riot.
