Merry Beans-mas

Merry Boxing Day! May all your punching people in the face be bright!
Beans’s first XXX-mas was tons of fun, and a bit of a beating. After several days’ worth of constipation, our boy charged headlong into poop country, first with a few astoundingly large dumps, and more recently with a mild case of the trots. Pooping loosely every couple of hours, as you purnts out there already know, often leads to a li’l thing called diaper rash, which leads to another li’l thing called screeching at the top of one’s lungs (justifiably so, I might add; that shit’s painful), which leads to some pretty poor sleep.
But. Copious Christmas magic to be had. In short, no Baptist extended family around = More fun. Like the drinking, smoking, flaming putting kind of fun. We got pictures, but they need uploading, and I need to not spend the day uploading pictures. So rather than a documenatation of our XXX-mas eve and day, here are several effing gold snapshots of a masquerade ball at chez Carrington gone horribly wrong. Good times.

Hoo… Jackson DID NOT SHIT for two and a half days until yesterday when Jen’s sister had him. Then a shotgun blast was heard and we had to buy her a new shirt.

WHen Henry is having lots of loose poops I splash his bum with warm water between diapers, like a baby bidet, to keep the rash down. Sometimes the wipes are just too harsh on his little berries.
