    The King of Four

    By briantologist | December 29, 2005

Meme of four, I guess. The word meme still irritates me, but whatever, this one’s pretty good. I got it from Greg; he didn’t pass it on to me, but I don’t guess doing it anyway is against the rules.

Four Jobs You’ve Had in Your Life: Usher at the $1.50 theater; Math textbook proofreader; Pizza delivery guy; Mall puppeteer.

Four Movies You Could Watch Over and Over: “The Godfather” (I and II), “Ocean’s Eleven” (the remake), “Mommie Dearest,” “Goodfellas.”

Four Places You’ve Lived: Sadly, I have only lived in three places. Municipalities, anyway. More sadly, they are all in Oklahoma: Enid, Tulsa, and Norman. That last was my favorite.

Four TV Shows You Love to Watch: “Dynasty,” “Mystery Science Theater 3000,” “The Office” (U.S. and U.K. alike), “My Name is Earl.”

Four Places You’ve Been on Vacation: Alsace-Lorraine, Martha’s Vineyard, Santa Fe, Portland, Ore.

Four Websites You Visit Daily: Flickr, Go Fug Yourself, iMDB, and your blog, probably.

Four of Your Favorite Foods: Sushi, rare beef, single-malt Scotch, Fritos

Four Places You’d Rather Be: See above vacation destinations. Also I hear Chicago is lovely this time of year, in a blood-curdling sort of way.

Four Albums You Can’t Live Without: Tom Petty, “Full Moon Fever,” “The Essential Johnny Cash” (3 discs=1 album), “Hank Williams: Gold” (greatest hits collections are totally allowed, especially multi-disc sets), “Franz Ferdinand”

I hereby pass this on to Styro, Barrett, Brit, and the endlessly awesome Justin. Also Em. No sense in limiting it to four people, theme or no theme.

Hey, you sent me the tap email but I don’t see myself so I am confused!

Okay, what that was is what’s commonly known as a “mistake.” I am, in fact, tapping five people, yourself included. I shalt alter the post accordingly.

A “mistake” hmmm? I have heard of these things you speak of! I shall act accordingly. I love the inclusion of Fritos on your list.

Not to be a dumbass, but what does “meme” mean? And is it pronounced like ‘me-me’, or is it more like ‘Auntie Meme’?

I was thinking about it, and though I think technically it rhymes with “theme,” there’s a reason it’s a word consisting of the word “me” repeated. Self-indulgence being that reason.

I always thought it was MEM. Like part of MEMO.

      But I’m not that bright.

Oddly enough it comes out “poop tornado” every time I try to pronounce it.
