“Excitement.”
By briantologist | February 26, 2006
Those of you who know me well may be familiar with how relentlessly hilarious I find the feature film “The Devil’s Advocate.” This is because the feature film “The Devil’s Advocate” is one of the greatest works of unintentional comedy ever put to film. In short, it involves Keanu Reeves and a “Southern” accent. For two hours.
“That’s pretty funny,” you might be saying. “But is that it? Is there, I dunno, one single scene that exemplifies how patently retarded the entire film is? Can you pick one?”
I’m glad you asked, gentle reader. ‘Cause there’s this one, where Keanu/Huckleberry Hound furiously asks Heather “Dawn Weiner” Matarrazzo one key question. That pretty much wraps it up for me.

Damn, that’s good. I played that game with a kid down the street, I think, when we were six…

It doesn’t sound like Keaunuea. It sounds like Hank Hill.
“Dammit, Bobby, get off the lawn.”

The ONLY good thing about Devil’s Advocate, is Al Pacino playing Satan with such joy and relish…..you can tell he loved that part!

HI-LARIOUS.
Keanu + Any Accent = Pure Comedy Gold.
That said, if he promised to keep his trap shut, I would totally play “special places” with him.

Dude, you know he’d try to “enhance the mood” by letting a few lines of Kerouac slip out. (Among other things. Hoo!)

I’m surprised there was any scenery left after Pacion played that part.

This only makes me wish that he’d used that accent in The Matrix. “What due ewe meen, aye am Tha Wun?”

Oh god I forgot how much that movie tickles me. I also love Charlize Theron busting out her Southern accent. Loverly.
