    Right. So.

    Have I mentioned we’re collectively kind of wiped tha fuck out lately? ‘Cause, for real. Lately that thing’s happening where after every weekend that passes, we’re more exhausted than we were coming out of the previous work week. (Erin, correct me if any of this does not accurately reflect how you’ve been.) This has largely been due to our precious, currently phelgm-packed Bean Salad. Y’know how daycare is packed to the gills with communicable illnesses? It is, if you didn’t know that. Beans picked up one of those, and nearly a week after his doctor’s office visit, it not only hadn’t gotten better, he’d taken to waking up at night not to eat, but simply to scream. Not that I don’t do the same thing, but it’s different for me.

    So yeah, ear infection, as it turns out, and after a single dose of antibiotics, another of baby Advil, and a resultant good night’s sleep, the lad is in infinitely better spirits, as am I, after a similar better night’s sleep. And if this entry doesn’t seem to be going anywhere, there’s an excellent reason for that*. And if in the past few days I’ve, I dunno, bitten your head off via the comments box in an overly defensive fury, um, sorry about that. Little testy these days. But getting better. Every day, in every way. Hmmhmmmm. Hmmhmmmmm. Hmmhmm. Hm.

      Poor HGB! Poor you guys!! I am glad to hear you finally got some sleep. I hope the sleep gods will continue to smile on you and everyone you love. Amen. Or something.

      Well dammit Powers, if you hadn’t INSISTED on making out for half an hour, you’d probably still be in the clear! Sheesh.
