    blind items

    By briantologist | October 17, 2006

    1. Yesterday I was walking up Jackson to the coffee shop and there was a severed bird’s ass sitting on the sidewalk. Really the entire bottom half of a bird. There was a wing a few feet away. No blood anywhere. As I’m fairly certain there are no roaming kitties downtown, and even if there were, they don’t have the requisite thumbs to operate the tools it would take to so neatly bisect an entire bird, I can only suspect some sort of third-party bird-dismantling fluke, probably mechanical.

    2. Purty clouds.

Next thing you know I’ll find out there’s food here.

Actually, I once had a cat who brought home the bottom half of a baby bunny.
      Skinned.
Said cat was de-clawed at the time.
Kitties are capable of amazing, brutal things.

Not to say that we ever re-clawed him.
