    fascinating

    By briantologist | March 28, 2007

Two facts I did not fully realize before this morning:

    1. There is a small switch located on the back of the neck of every child born to humankind. This switch has two positions: Position A is “TOTAL PAIN IN THE ASS”; Position B is “NOT A TOTAL PAIN IN THE ASS.”

    2. This switch is broken during the birthing process, and so toggles back and forth at random throughout the life of every child.

Oh, the toggle is broken long before birth. However, then it reads “Pain in the ribs.”

I didn’t even realize there was a toggle — I thought it was permanently in PITA mode. The times when you think that they aren’t total ass pains is when you’re delirious from huffing helium at Chuck E. Cheese. It’s a toggle switch on YOU instead.

That’s funny because mine has constantly been on “Total Pain in the Ass” since birth. Poor mom! Poor husband!
