Lake effect
By ELB | December 6, 2007
I spent a bit of last Friday afternoon sulking around downtown. After I saw all the Kristkindle village ornament booths out on Daley Plaza, I went to Marshall Field’s and took pictures of the ceiling. I really wanted to gawk up at it, but it’s over the cosmetics department and perfume had risen to the top creating a thunderhead of Acqua di Gio and Youth Dew. I think I know what it’s like on Venus.
On Tuesday it snowed a whole lot, and Brian and I went to the Field Museum. We took lots of pictures, but I’m going to let Brian talk about those, because he’s far better at it than I am.

Funny–I looked at that picture and was all, “Oooh! Pretty Christmas ball thinger dingers!” As soon as I read that you took the photo while looking up toward the ceiling, well, I think I’m about to either fall over or vomit. (I’m vertiginous!)

I’m with Angela and feeling all vertiginous after looking at the photo. But now that I am lying on my bed and looking at it, I’m just fine. It’s funny how that works. P.S. I am so over this school bullshit.
