Ho-lee smokes, As the World Turns was off the chain today! Luke and Noah kept talking about banana splits, oral fixation, and needing four kinds of meat in order to be satisfied! Earlier this week they decided to take things slow and make sure they’re ready. Now they’ve jumped right to discussions of ideal ‘first time being alone together’ settings! Candles, rose petals, and a round bed? Sweaty locker room? Evening at Jackhammer? Will their plans be derailed once they find out that, across town, Luke’s mom, Lily, was being held at syringepoint by the crazed lab tech who murdered Smoldering Dusty?
For real, though, there were some tender looks shared today, I tell you that. I just sat here and blushed right here in my living room. Couple this with the inappropriate feelings for Zac Efron that unexpectedly developed during a pay-per-view showing of Hairspray, and I’m well on my way to being the world’s youngest cougar.
This Efron thing completely blind-sided me. Obviously I know who the boy is and why he’s a tween dream, I don’t have time to waste reading publications that DON’T mention him and his like. But given my track record with lame programming, I’m almost ashamed to say that I haven’t seen High School Musical. In fact, I might have already gone out of my way to see HSM if I thought the cast were more attractive. However, watching him in his tight Junior Executive suits awakend something within my panties. Late in the movie he did this wiggle dance and it was like I became The Giver. Next thing I knew I was setting the DVR to record Miracle Run on LMN.
Today during Blue’s Clues I started feeling guilty about my feelings for Steve, and those were feelings I had long since come to terms with. I can’t believe my crushes on imaginary people have taken such an ick turn. I have so much thinking to do.
