Talking about how fucking awesome Jon Stewart has by this point become tantamount to bending someone’s ear about how sex is fun, or how food is necessary to sustain life. The forward-thinking reader will have already determined that this statement is a segue into a diatribe about how fucking awesome Jon Stewart is. For the benefit of you then, forward-thinking reader, I will simply shut my mouth and present this video, a terrific encapsulation of a few standards that are double — “double-standards,” dare I say? — that have arisen in our national political debate as of late.
Jon Stewart, if you were a lady, I’d say “It’s strange that that lady is named Jon, but I approve of her viewpoints and find her painfully hilarious.”

Holy fuck, that was amazing. Thank you for that. I just wish stupid people watched Jon all the time too. Then our electorate wouldn’t be so gullible.
